If you are part of the 2010 modern brides category and you are looking for a truly stunning, unconventional and yet practical wedding dress for the big day we recommend you the pocket wedding dress or the wedding dress with pockets.

As weird as it may sound, you’ve heard right! We are talking about fancy romantic wedding dresses, but with… pockets! How is this possible?

Well, as we mentioned above, this style can be included in the modern wedding dresses group. The modern bride is the luckiest bride of all times, now that she is free to wear any type of wedding dress she wants: with pockets, with dynamic colors, with whimsical necklines and with shorter flamboyant skirts.

The most important aspect of a contemporary 2010 wedding dress is the practicality of the design. If a wedding dress is not able to provide you with the necessary comfort that every bride is looking for in a dress, then it might not be adequate for a modern wedding.

A simple browse on the internet will help you observe and conclude that most of the wedding dresses today feature simplistic cuts and styles that can be worn especially on causal weddings. The modern bride of 2010 is a more relaxed bride who needs to feel comfy on the wedding day and the wedding dress she’s wearing must offer her this pleasure or this “luxury” as it might have been called a few centuries ago when most wedding gowns were voluminous, elaborated and dramatically formal, unable to move in.

Returning to our subject – pocket wedding dresses, we suggest you to follow your own personal style when choosing the dress. If you feel more comfortable in a wedding dress with pockets, or if you simply love this innovative and revolutionary design, why not go for it!

A pocket wedding dress is mean to help the bride guard her lipstick, a tissue package, her mobile phone, a mirror and whatever she might want to keep handy. When choosing the right pocket wedding dress brides must also consider the final formality that they have planned for the wedding. Don’t think that pocket wedding dresses are only casual and fit for only informal weddings.

You will get the chance to see tens of new designs of formal pocket wedding dresses appropriate for dramatic and classy rigorous or formal wedding affairs too. A pocket wedding dress is just like any other wedding dress, but without that common usual look that we can find in most strapless wedding dresses today.

You can find short ball gown pocket wedding dresses, halter pocket wedding dresses, sensual sleek off the shoulders pocket wedding dresses, strapless fancy pocket wedding dresses, vintage formal tea length pocket wedding dresses or asymmetrical contemporary one shouldered pocket wedding dresses.11

where are the pockets of the short dress from here? I can’t see them. Which is great because this is what I want my dress to look like. I like the dress very much and I would love to wear it at the reception. And the pockets will be great accessories, since I always have tissues and lip gloss with me and at the reception having a purse is quite uncomfortable for me. What a great invention, the wedding dress with pockets! I also like the long dresses with pockets, but I am wearing the dress my mother in law wore at her wedding and so pockets are not possible, but this short one for the reception is great.

I’d love to know the designer/info on the second dress (convertible length) with pockets. Please let me know if you have it, thanks! 🙂
