Now that not only wedding affairs are pretty expensive, there is also a very spicy price to pay for simply living. There are more and more couples out there who are struggling with a tight wedding budget, forcing themselves to stay within this budget when planning the whole grand event.

Lucky that most modern wedding events are now rather causal, loose, intimate and small than grandiose, extravagant, elaborated and complex as they used to be in the old good days. Nowadays everything it’s been kept simple, clean, easy, light and unsophisticated.

Most weddings have moved to beach or any other destination natural location where the requirements are not that rigorous but more indulgent with the couple’s financial possibilities. When it comes to the wedding dress issue, things are the same. Modern brides are looking for simple and casual comfy wedding dresses that can be worn on beach weddings or on nature weddings held in parks, back yards, gardens or open fields. Most of these wedding dresses are enough elegant, stylized and romantic to fit an informal wedding. This type of dress is usually fond under the name “beach wedding dresses”.

But not only economical brides are planning a destination exotic wedding. Wealthy women who are attracted to the loose style or the breezy styles are also choosing flowy beach wedding dresses to wear on the big day. Among this types of brides are: hippie brides, bohemian brides or antique brides who are interested in wearing ethereal long draping and floaty comfy wedding dresses with a bit of a modern or antique twist.

In general, these casual flowy beach wedding dresses are relatively more affordable than other types of elegant, formal and dramatic wedding gowns with lavish ball gown skirts and embellished bodices. In case you fancy one of those antique styles described above you can opt for a chic retro vintage ’60 or ’70s inspired flowy beach wedding dress.

These dresses are made from light weight woolly materials such as silk, cotton, chiffon, georgette, damask, illusion net, batiste, crepe, rayon or gauze. In case you are looking for an ultra-modern flowy beach hippie wedding dress you should look for those made form fabrics like flax linen, organic cotton, ramie cotton, bamboo or wool.

One can wear a hippie flowy cotton beach wedding dress on a country side style wedding affair too. The length of such dress can end right below the knees, anywhere between the knees and the ankles.

Choose an empire waist hippie flowy beach wedding dress with a square neckline or perhaps a V-line hippie flowy beach wedding dress with a dropped waist bodice for a more graceful, whimsical, feminine and delicate romantic look. If you wish to wear a flowy beach wedding dress choose from puffed, off the shoulders, balloon or medieval types of sleeves for a more thematic look.11

I finally found what I was looking for. I’m not into the hippies so much, but there are a few things that I like about this type of fashion. Flowing lines are one of those things. Another is that type of tops that I’ve noticed in the first bottom picture. That dress is pretty much the same with what I have in mind a beach wedding dress should look like. Just that I would shorten it, as it’s not very comfortable to walk on sand in that long dress. But the rest, especially the top part, as I’ve already mentioned, it’s just so soft and comfortable looking.

Hello I saw the “hippie flowy beach wedding dress” on your webpage and I had one question. Who is the designer of this dress? I love it and would love to know where I could go to try it on or find one similar.
    Thank you for your time,
