One of the most important days of your life is coming and you are o low budget? It’ s the big day and you didn’t decide yet what type of wedding dress would you wear? Are you thinking about trying to get a free wedding dress? Well, you should know that this isn’t as impossible as you think it is. There are a couple of ways through which you can purchase a free wedding dress and if you keep reading you will see what I’m talking about.

The wedding dress is the most important item in a bride’s wardrobe. There are two things in a wedding that catch all the attention: the wedding dress and the wedding cake. Each of them is carefully selected and decorated and arranged in the case of the wedding cake. In the case of the wedding dress, you need to be arranged and prepared in order to look stunning. The brides that are on a low budget shouldn’t be worried at all. A low budget doesn’t mean you won’t look beautiful because there are lots of ways out there that can help you look beautiful. Besides the fact that there are a couple of ways to get a free wedding dress, there are other ways to buy a very cheap wedding dress. Even if you buy it or you just get it for free, you must not forget that even it didn’t cost anything it’s your way of looking stunning. So if it doesn’t fit you very good, you need a tailor and in this way it will fit you perfectly.

You’ve probably heard about heirlooms. We call jewelry like this, but in this case we can call wedding dress like this too. You can call heirlooms those wedding dresses that are gotten for free from mothers, grandmothers or other relatives. Wearing these free wedding dresses, besides helping you to save money, are a way of showing love and respect to the people you have them from. Imagine haw happy your mum or our grandmother will be if you wear her wedding dress. It’s going to be even more emotional that it already is. Free wedding dresses for family or relatives are probably the easiest ones to get. I don’t think there is any mother or grandmother in this world that won’t want her daughter to wear her old wedding dress. It’s a joyful day and you will make some people happy by wearing their wedding dress. Besides, if you are an admirer of vintage items, this could be a great chance for you to actually wear something truly vintage.

Another way of getting a free wedding dress is through friends. Ask friends if they can borrow you their wedding dress and maybe you will find out that they are willing to even give it to you. ┬áBe careful whom you ask and how you do it. This can be a very delicate issue for some women so you need to be very careful. Have this talk just with the close friends and even if a close and dear friend accepts to borrow her wedding dress to you, you should have a written paper with all the details. What details? Details like: am I allowed to change the design? Am I allowed to go to the tailor with it if it’s too big or too small for me? Am I allowed to have accidents? Am I allowed to walk with it on the sand? Any types of details should be discussed. You don’t want to end a friendship over some stains or a new zipper. Be brave and open to your friend. Say thank you to her for the free wedding dress but also talk to her about the things that can happen to the dress. If she’s very attached to it, you might consider fid another option.

Some other options are there if you’re thinking about buying a dress. We can almost call it a free wedding dress because the price is really small. Go to second hand shops, to sales shops, on the internet and you will find a lot of alternatives for you and for your dress. If second hand shops don’t sound too good for you, you can try consignment shops. They are better in the way that the items that they sell are almost perfect, so they look as new as any new wedding dress.

Nowadays there are a lot of ways of finding a cheap wedding dress or a free wedding dress. Even if your dress won’t look too fancy, you still need to not forget that you are a bride. Don’t forget the accessories and your hair. Arrange your hair nicely so it will go well with your outfit and wear some nice earrings and a little necklace, A little bit of elegance didn’t kill anybody and besides it will make your free wedding dress to really shine. Also, you need to think about shoes. If the dress didn’t cost anything maybe you can afford paying a little bit more on the wedding shoes. If your wedding dress is short, then the shoes really count because they can be seen while when you wear a long wedding dress, they’re almost hidden. Don’t be cheap in everything your wear. If everybody knows that the dress was for free, they will check out everything else you wear. It’s going to be nice to have some items to be proud of. Of course, I’m not saying that the dress it’s not something to be proud of, I’m just saying the other items will be bought for this special occasion and they will be special too.

There are some downsides as well regarding free wedding dresses. Firstly when you get a free wedding dress, you ask for your size. There’s one size and you must deal with that. This is why, the next thing you should do after getting the free dress is going to the tailor. Make all the changes that you need and see how it looks. Your wedding dress, free or not free, needs to fit you perfectly. Be sure also that is clean and you’re good to go!

You were right about one single thing in your article. it’s then when you say that when the cost is small than you feel that the dress is for free. In rest, although everything that you are saying is simple common sense, I feel that I don’t agree with every bit of information you give here. For example, cleaning the dress might be very expensive. Real vintage dresses can be really not very nice or at least not very nice for you. And going to a tailor to make the dress fit you might also be pretty expensive, so I am wondering if a cheaper new dress wouldn’t be more affordable.
